Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills in your role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Work collaboratively with your team and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and general store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Comply with established policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting cleanliness standards and following procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
