Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. This is a full-time position averaging 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Effective customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Capability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Compliance with state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
• Prior retail experience is preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience in a retail setting is beneficial
