Job Description

As a Store Team Member at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by engaging with customers, merchandising products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills
• Process customer transactions and maintain cleanliness in the store
• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow established safety and security protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Experience in retail and familiarity with company policies preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
