Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with team members and assist customers, contributing to a positive shopping experience for all.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. Mindsets and core competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, help customers during their shopping journey.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Adhere to company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and efficiency.
• Meet state requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
