Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and organized appearance. Your primary focus will be to enhance the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and various store equipment
- Capability to interpret and apply company guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
- Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages
