Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate where you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will handle various responsibilities such as merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products and inventory, monitor inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling procedures, adhere to company policies
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain a secure and confidential environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Ability to operate store equipment safely and effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages per state and local regulations
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
