Job Description
We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. You will be responsible for relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with your team and contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
