Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations and providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $16.00 per hour. Note that training will be provided at a nearby store until the new store opens.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute to inventory management and follow cash policies to ensure store security.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while upholding confidentiality and document security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Follow cleaning standards and company policies accurately.
- Strong communication skills and capability to work independently or in a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and handle multiple tasks professionally.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local laws.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
