Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level). In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent knowledge through education and experience.
