Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store operations including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills) qualities.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Follow cash policies and procedures to reduce losses.
  • Adhere to company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
  • Ability to provide courteous and prompt customer service.
  • Capable of interpreting and implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
