Job Description
We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI location. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organized merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during shopping
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory, report issues, and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies to uphold security and confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Work independently and within a team environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
